The A244 Hanging Patio Heater is great when you don't want to take up valuable floor space and you have high enough ceiling to accommodate the unit. Since the overall height of the heater is 41", we suggest having at least 10 to 12 feet in ceiling height for installation. What we really like is the optional 24 volt transformer, 'E-Head'. Once connected to a switchable electrical supply and natural gas, the unit will turn on with anything that turns on/off the electricity (switch, thermostat, timer, etc.). In windy conditions, if the burner flame blows out, the 'E-Head' automatically re-ignites the burner. With 50,000 BTU's, you will get 314 sq ft. of comfortable heat. A real timeless winner.
